ポルトガル現代美術館の学芸員による企画展が、マカオのポルトガル領事官邸で始まりました。この場所は旧ベラヴィスタホテルです。今のギラギラしたカジノとは異なり、昔の南ヨーロッパのリゾート地にあるような、洗練された雰囲気の時代のマカオが感じられます。映画のシーンにも良く登場していました。日本人に馴染みのある沢木耕太郎の紀行小説『深夜特急』にも登場します。『ベラ・ビスタ・ホテル。いかにも格式のありそうな雰囲気を漂わせている….』

The Year 2019 sees celebrations of great importance in the context of historical relations between Portugal and the people’s Republic of China, with macau as a dynamic point of excellence: beyond the 40 years of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries , this year is the 20th anniversary of the constitution of the special administrative region of Macau and the 30 years of the creation of the Portuguese Institute of the east.
With a view to a participation that is up to this sequence of ephemerides, the Portuguese Institute of the east felt that it was appropriate to prepare an exhibition of contemporary art, including names of marked importance in the landscape of
With support from the macau foundation, the cultural institute of Macau, Camões-Institute of cooperation and language, and the consulate general of Portugal in Macau and Hong Kong, curated by Adelaide Ginga and in partnership with the National Museum of contemporary art, The exhibition “Bridges Winged – Collective exhibition of contemporary art Portugal-China”, opens on September 11, at 18:30 pm, in the gallery of the official residence of the consul-General of Portugal in Macau and Hong Kong.
The Curatorial selection focused on the joining of artists from both latitudes; Portuguese artists who have developed, in their artistic journey, some relationship with Macau-China, and Chinese artists who somehow have a relationship with Portugal. A Collective exhibition that puts in dialogue artists from both countries and the plurality of artistic expression, gathering different thematic approaches and various presentation media.
“Bridges Bridges” will be on display, in the gallery of the official residence of the consul-General of Portugal in Macau and Hong Kong, from 11 September to 11 October, Monday to Saturday, from 13 am to 18 H (closes on Sundays and official holidays).
